Eagerly anticipated, the 18-hole Bison Golf & Country Club designed by PGA Tour star Billy Mayfair is now open! The par 71 championship course is located at an elevation of 6200 feet in the cool scenic White Mountains. “The golf experience”, says Mayfair, “will be fun, fair, and provide an enjoyable golf experience to golfers of all levels of ability.”
The semi-private resort blends into the beautiful surrounding environment offered by only the White Mountains of Northern Arizona. By combining spectacular rolling hills and winding trails of Ponderosa Pines, Bison Golf & Country Club is a special place to enjoy your mountain golf. Every hole is designed to be distinct with premiums placed on approach shots, distance control and mid-range iron accuracy. Nine holes are played through the tall mountain pines and the other nine are played mostly in the grand meadow.
